We offer multiple payment options, so the choice is yours. These include:

1. Debit and Credit Card Payments processed through Stripe

2. PayPal

3. Amazon Pay

4. Gift Cards (coming soon)

Our third-party payment’s provider accepts the following debit/credit cards:


To pay with PayPal, you’ll need to set up a PayPal account on the PayPal website. It only takes minutes to open a PayPal account and it’s free.

If you already have a PayPal account or have signed up, you can proceed to step 3 of the checkout (Payment). Select “Pay with PayPal” from the options. Once you have accepted the Ts&Cs and clicked “Place Order” you will be redirected to the PayPal website to complete your transaction.

Why pay with PayPal?

  • It’s safer: shop at thousands of websites without sharing your financial details.
  • It’s faster: with no need to type in your card details, you can check out in a few clicks.
  • It’s easier: all you need is an email address and password to pay online

To add your card details, just login to your Account and click on Payment. From here, you can add your payment details and save them to your account. When you come to pay for your order, you can select one of your saved payment methods to pay for your order.

If you don’t want to save your payment details to your account, then you can also enter them when you get to Checkout. If there is no payment details saved to your account, then you’ll be asked to enter them in the last stage of the Checkout.

We take your security very seriously, therefore your details are safe with us. We also take fraud very seriously too, so all credit and debit card holders are subject to validation and authorisation by both our third-party payment’s provider, Stripe, and the card issuer.

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, Stripe make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe. You can read more about this on their website.

This is up to you. You can select during the payment process to save your payment details to your kandid account. 

However, for all debit and credit card transactions the security code (CVV) on the back of the card will be required for all transactions. You can only see it if you have physical access to the card, and it will not be saved on our website.

VAT, Duty & Other

We charge VAT to customers ordering from the United Kingdom and countries in the European Union. The tax rate is calculated based on the customer delivery address supplied during the checkout process.

All prices displayed on include VAT at the prevailing rate. The order confirmation email will include a VAT breakdown.

We do not charge VAT to customers ordering from countries outside the UK or EU.

Any duty charges will be charged once your parcel arrives in the destination country. If you’re requested to pay duty charges, you’ll be notified with information on how to pay. Kandid has no control over these charges and we can’t tell you what the cost would be, as the duty calculation is handled by our courier.

We cannot predict what these charges will be so we’d recommend contacting your local customs office for the latest charges before ordering.

In the event that you don’t agree with duty charges presented to you, please contact the courier.

kandid is not able to pay these charges for you or refund any of these charges.

For all debit/credit card payments authorised through our third-party payments provider, Stripe, your card will be charged immediately.

If you made a mistake, want to cancel your order before it has been dispatched or notice a problem with the amount charged please get in touch with by submitting a request here as soon as possible.

We’re sorry if you’ve been charged more than you were expecting for your order.

There are a couple of reasons why it may appear you’ve been charged more than you were expecting:

  • We charge you in the currency that is selected at the checkout when you place your order. If your local currency is different to the currency you selected at the checkout then your bank will convert the amount using their exchange rate. Next time you shop with us, click on the flag at the top right corner of any page, then select your country from the list if it isn’t already selected. If there is more than one currency available to you, you’ll be able to choose your currency here too. If only one currency is available, the currency will be displayed.
  • If you’ve used a promo code on your order, the discount may not apply to all of the items in your basket. There are certain exclusions with some promo codes and you can find these in the terms and conditions that would have been included when you received the code.

If you still believe you’ve been overcharged for you order, then please contact us and we’ll look into it further for you.

You can pay using various currencies depending on the country you’re shopping from. Use the flag icon in the navigation bar on our homepage to change the country you are shopping from.

If you do not do this, you may be charged additional fees by your bank or credit card issuer.

For example, if you live in Germany – change the flag to the EU. The prices on our website will update to reflect that in EUR. If you proceed with the UK flag whilst shopping in Germany, you will be charged in GBP and your bank/credit card issuer will process this as an international payment.
